Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 712 East 180th Street in East Tremont, The Bronx. Located between Crotona Avenue and Clinton Avenue, the interior lot is closest to the West Farms Square-East Tremont Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Eduart Shllaku under the DJ East 180 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 30,793 square feet, with 27,937 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 37 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 755 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 58-foot-long rear yard.
Gino Longo Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in May 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
