In July, YIMBY brought you a first look at 180 Franklin Avenue, a rental project that Adam America is developing in the northwestern corner of Bed-Stuy. Now, we’ve come across what appears to be updated renderings on the firm’s website of the building.

The face of the project seems to have changed ever so slightly – one more set of windows is recessed from the brick portion and set in a cladding that now appears lighter, while the base lost a bit of its stone-like look.

The 118 rental apartments will be spread over nearly 80,000 square feet of space. We’ve also got a look at the back, with its all-brick cladding and 59 parking spaces, the exact minimum required by the zoning code. (A requirement that looks silly when you consider that all of thedenser new Hasidic development just to the north gets by without any parking at all, due to the large unit sizes and larger parcels broken up into smaller individual structures.)

Adam America paid $8.5 million for the land, between Myrtle and Willoughby avenues, on the western side of Franklin, working out to $107 per square foot.

Issac & Stern is the firm responsible for the design.
