Permits have been filed for a 13-story residential building at 88 White Street in Chinatown, Manhattan. Located between Broadway and Lafayette Street, the lot is within walking distance of the Canal Street subway stations, serviced by the J, 4, 6, and N, Q, R, and W trains.
The proposed 120-foot-tall development will yield 42,973 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 32 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,342 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and nine enclosed parking spaces.
Manuel Glas Architects is listed as the architect of record, and is also listed as the owner’s representative on the applications.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
