The buildings will measure 3,374 square feet each and, across both, the residential units should average a family-sized 1,266 square feet apiece. There will be a total of two off-street parking spaces. An Shen Ma’s Flushing-based architecture firm is the architect of record. The 66-foot-wide, 5,050-square-foot property is occupied by a single-story house. Demolition permits were filed in September.

Fresh Meadows-based Forest Bird Realty, headed by Fei Tian Huang, has filed applications for two two-story, two-family houses at 61-15 – 61-17 168th Street, in the Queens neighborhood of Utopia, located immeadiately south of the Long Island Expressway. Each will measure 3,542 square feet, and across both, the full-floor residential units should average 1,261 square feet apiece, indicative of family-sized configurations. The project will have a total of two off-street parking spots. Edward C. Lui’s Little Neck-based architectural firm is the architect of record. The 50-foot-wide, 5,000-square-foot plot is currently occupied by a two-story brick townhouse. Demolition permits were filed in January.

Simon Cheung, doing business as an anonymous Flushing-based corporation, has filed applications for two three-story, two-unit residential building at 67-21 – 67-23 185th Street, in Utopia, located three blocks south of the Long Island Expressway. Each building will measure 2,875 square feet, with one unit taking up the ground floor and the second unit spanning across the second and third floors. The apartments will likely be geared towards families and will have multiple bedrooms. Theeshium E. Ken’s Flushing-based Paul Mok Engineering is the applicant of record. The site’s former single-story, single-family house was demolished last year.

Whitestone-based property owner Robert Ranallo has filed applications for a three-story, three-unit residential building at 61-42 168th Street, in Utopia, four blocks from the QM4 bus stop at 164th Street/Horace Harding Expressway. The building will measure 3,568 square feet in total, which means full-floor units will average 1,190 square feet each. Great Neck-based Frank Petruso is the architect of record, and demolition began earlier this year to remove the site’s former two-story home.
