The Stonewall Inn, located at 51-53 Christopher Street, has been designated an individual landmark by the Landmarks Preservation Commission. The unanimous vote took place Tuesday shortly before noon and was greeted by a roar of applause. Jack David has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 1098 Madison Street, in central Bushwick, four blocks away from the Gates Avenue stop on the J and Z lines. Residential units will measure an average 680 square feet, putting the building within the realm of typical rental construction. Todd O’Connell is the architect of record, and an existing, recessed two-story, single-family structure must first be removed.

Renderings have been revealed for an 18,455 square-foot clubhouse at Ferry Point Park, in Throggs Neck, the East Bronx. The single-story structure is being developed by The Trump Organization, and Hart Howerton is designing. According to DNAinfo, the Design Commission must approve the plans, but completion is expected in the first half of 2016.
