Permits Filed For Four-Story, Seven-Unit Building At 834 Quincy Street, Bed-Stuy

Permits have been filed to construct a four-story, seven-unit residential building at 834 Quincy Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The spot is right next door to the Epiphany Church, down the street from the Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School, and around the corner from the NYPD’s 81st Precinct. The development would be 45 feet tall and have its seven apartments spread across 4,953 square feet. That would mean an average unit size of about 708 square feet.

Four-Story, Two-Unit Residential Building Planned At 97 Lynch Street, Williamsburg

David Blum, doing business as an anonymous LLC, has filed applications for a four-story, two-unit residential building at 97 Lynch Street, in southern Williamsburg, located five blocks south of the Hewes Street stop on the J and M trains. It will measure 5,443 square feet, which means units will average a very spacious 2,722 square feet apiece. Combined with relatively high ceilings, high-end townhouse units are likely. Bahram Tehrani’s Jamaica-based BTE Design Services is the applicant of record, and the site’s old two-story building was demolished in 2006.

Four-Story, Two-Unit Townhouse Filed At 813 Greene Avenue, Bedford-Stuyvesant

Isaac Itah has filed applications for a four-story, two-unit townhouse on the 17-foot-wide lot at 813 Greene Avenue, in central Bedford-Stuyvesant, four blocks from the Kosciuszko Street stop on the J train. The building will total 3,479 square feet, and each unit will spread across two floors, averaging a spacious 1,740 square feet. Bahram Tehrani’s Jamaica-based BTE Design Services is the applicant of record, and the lot appears vacant.

16 Residential Units Replacing Wood-Framed Structure at 194 Hawthorne Street in PLG

Hawthorne Brothers LLC has filed applications for two four-story, eight-unit residential buildings each measuring nearly 5,800 square feet at 192-194 Hawthorne Street, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. BTE Design Services is designing, and an existing 2.5-story wood-framed structure was approved for demolition in March.

Paramount Home Group Inc. has filed applications for a six-story, 11-unit mixed-use building measuring nearly 8,500 square feet at 13 Patchen Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant near Broadway. BTE Design Services is designing, and an existing two-story townhouse passed pre-demolition inspection in February.
