250 West 55th is now several floors away from being completed, while 1715 Broadway is around the halfway mark. 250 West 55th’s presence is visible from Columbus Circle, and already makes quite a visual impact. Although the cladding is quite somber unless it’s in sunlight, the overall building is still a welcome addition to a neglected stretch of Eighth Avenue. 1715 Broadway is still only visible from the blocks immediately around it, but that too should change in another month or two.
