The Willow Hotel has topped out,and cladding has made it up most of the building. At 29 stories it leaves no mark on the skyline, but its presence at the street-scape level is a definite success. Even before completion, the Willow Hotel looks like it has been on the block far longer than its eastern neighbors (the short and ugly Director’s Guild Building will surely be razed soon).
