New York YIMBY’s redesign is finally complete, and the newsletter function will soon be activated. The old form was automated, and the site has switched to Mailchimp – the newsletter will be sent every Saturday beginning 7/20, highlighting the top five projects featured on New York YIMBY each week. The subscription sign-up is located immediately to the right, and the list is completely new, and entering only requires an e-mail address.
YIMBY’s Instagram account is also linked on the right, and offers one-shot glimpses of the projects shown on the website – the site’s emphasis on social media will be shifting from Facebook to both Twitter and Instagram, and moving forward the site will average three postings per day.
As New York YIMBY continues to expand, advertising will be implemented in the coming weeks – any companies, individuals, or organizations interested in availability should contact [email protected] for the site’s media kit and additional details. YIMBY does not compromise or sell reader data, and any advertisements that are accepted will meet stringent quality standards, enhancing the site’s appearance rather than detracting. YIMBY will be launching a survey to better assess the site’s reader base in coming weeks, as well.
