1128 36th Avenue: An anonymous LLC has filed applications to construct a seven-story, 27,800 square-foot mixed-use building at the vacant lots of 1128-1136 36th Avenue, in Borough Park. The majority of the building will be used as community space, while a smaller portion will be retained for commercial use. M Architecture is designing.
272 Throop Avenue: An anonymous LLC has filed applications to begin “excavation [and] foundation” work on a planned four-story and eight-unit residential building of 5,437 square feet, at 272 Throop Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant. An existing one-story structure was approved for demolition in May.
Queens:
25-34 31st Street: 414 Onderdonk LLC has filed applications to construct a “reinforced concrete, seven-story [and] 16-family” mixed-use building at 25-34 31st Street, in Astoria, which will span a total 12,500 square feet, including 1,800 square feet of street-level retail. Demolition of an existing two-story structure was approved in June; Christopher V Papa is designing.
98-38 Eckford Avenue: Mayflower Estates has filed applications to construct seven two-story and two-unit buildings at the vacant southwest corner of Huron Street and Eckford Avenue, in Ozone Park. The size of the homes will range between 2,000 and 2,350 square feet.
142-31 221st Street: Makdash Homes has filed applications to construct a two-story and two-unit residential building of 2,500 square-feet at 142-27 – 142-31 221st Street, in Laurelton. The parcels are currently home to a two-story structure, and demolition permits have not yet been submitted.
Staten Island:
105 Hanover Avenue: Ashland Building has filed to construct two wood-framed abodes at 105-107 Hanover Avenue, in Prince’s Bay. Each home — spanning 5,000 square-feet — will house a single family; lot 105 is currently vacant, and 107 holds a two-story structure that must first be demolished.
