520 West 28th Street [Curbed]: A tipster submitted new interior renderings of Related’s Zaha Hadid-designed 520 West 28th Street to Curbed; another tipster sent the above unreleased exterior shot to YIMBY, created by Visualhouse.
255 Bowery [Bowery Boogie]: Developer Shaky Cohen has stripped his condo-converted building of scaffolding at 255 Bowery, which has been a work-in-progress for three years. Previously a four-story townhouse, 255 Bowery now stands six stories tall, and has four units.
223 West 77th Street [The Real Deal]: The Naftali Group has filed permits to demolish a five-story parking garage at 219-223 West 77th Street, on the Upper West Side. The developer “is expecting to build residential condominiums,” and the parcels include 75,000 square feet of building potential.
17 Devoe Street [Brownstoner]: Developer 1507 Realty Services is expanding the two-story commercial building at 17 Devoe Street, in Williamsburg, “into a four-story residential building with 25 apartments.” The structure appears to have topped-out, and cladding is imminent.
995 Washington Avenue [DNAinfo NY]: Washington Ave Dev LLC is constructing a five-story mixed-use building on the triangular lot at 995 Washington Avenue, wedged between the street and the tracks in Crown Heights. The two-unit building will be clad in “a two-tone brick,” and a commercial operation is expected to lease at street level; excavators and rebar are now on-site.
13 Star Ledger Plaza [The Star-Ledger]: Maddd Equities is in contract to purchase the 177,000 square-foot office building at 1-13 Star Ledger Plaza — in Newark — home of the Star-Ledger newspaper publishing company. The price paid has not yet been disclosed, and the developer’s plan for the building has yet to be revealed.
502 Canal Street [Curbed]: SRA Architecture has completed the renovation of a three-story building at 502 Canal Street, in northern Tribeca. The landmarked structure received a red-brick façade, as well as new windows and luxurious interiors; Ponte Equities plans to market the building as townhouses.
399 3rd Avenue [Brownstoner]: Schematics have been posted on-site at 399 3rd Avenue, at the vacant northeast corner of 3rd Ave. and 6th Street, in Gowanus. Globiwest Hospitality is developing a six-story and 58-room hotel spanning 19,127 square feet, according to applications. The Michael Kang– designed hotel is relatively bland.
