600 West 58th Street: Durst has filed applications to begin foundation and structural work on a planned 11-story and 120,000 square-foot building at 600 West 58th Street — alternatively 847-853 11th Avenue — on the Far West Side; initial permits were filed in January, and demolition of the existing six-story building completed at the end of July.

BRONX:

1301 Cromwell Avenue: Shawn Harooni — of Eden Capital — has filed applications to construct a two-story and nearly 2,500 square-foot commercial building at the vacant lot of 1301 Cromwell Avenue, in Mount Eden.

3250 Westchester Avenue: Mark Rosen — of Pelham Bay 2007 LLC — has filed applications to construct a single-story retail building of 2,470 square feet within the shopping area of 3250 Westchester Avenue, in Middletown – Pelham Bay.

BROOKLYN:

91 Junis Street: Junis-Glenmore Development has filed applications to begin construction of a six-story and 161-unit residential building of 148,165 square feet at the vacant lot of 91 Junis Street, in Brownsville; Urban Architectural Initiatives is designing.

521 4th Avenue: David Schwartz — of Partners VII — filed applications for a 12-story and 148-unit mixed-use building totaling roughly 116,000 square feet spanning the lots of 521-539 4th Avenue, in southern Park Slope. A strip-mall structure was approved for demolition in July; Aufgang is designing.

84 5th Street: Jack Marmurstein — of 110 5th Street Private LLC — has filed applications to construct a single-story warehouse building of nearly 36,000 square feet spanning 80-100 5th Street, in Gowanus; Solomon Rosenzweig is designing.

505 Clinton Avenue: Uval Golan has filed applications to construct a six-story and 10-unit mixed-use building of 12,212 square feet at 505 Clinton Avenue, in southern Clinton Hill. An existing two-story structure must first be demolished; Shahriar Afshari is designing.

2116 East 3rd Street: Property owner Sammy Catton has filed applications to construct a three-story and single-family abode of 4,200 square feet at 2116 East 3rd Street, in Gravesend; an existing two-story home will need to be demolished.

QUEENS:

26-05 28th Street: Astoria Boulevard Realty has filed applications to construct a six-story and 28-unit mixed-use building — totaling nearly 25,000 square feet — at the vacant southeast corner of Astoria Boulevard and 28th Street, in Astoria. Commercial space will amount to 4,355 square feet, and Karl Fischer is designing.

11 Center Drive: Xuanli Tang — of Zhongmeng Company — has filed applications to construct a three-story and single-family mansion of 7,522 square feet at 11 Center Drive, in Malba. The site’s two-story predecessor was demolished in September of 2013; JLS Designs is the architect of record.
