407 East Tremont Avenue [New York Daily News]: Dubbed Tremont Renaissance, Radame Perez is expected to break ground on a 13-story, 256-unit affordable housing project — spanning 350,000 square feet — at 407-415 East Tremont Avenue, in the Bronx. The development and others in the area were enabled by a 2011 rezoning. An existing two-story structure has already been demolished.
140 Pierrepont Street [The Real Deal]: Jonathan Rose Companies has acquired the block-through low-rise building at 181 Montague Street, in Brooklyn Heights; the developer now owns an assemblage on the block, and has “envisioned redeveloping the Pierrepont side” at 140 Pierrepont Street.
207 West 79th Street [Curbed]: After a redesign, Anbau Enterprises have won approved from the Landmarks Preservation Commission to construct a 13-story residential building spanning 203-209 West 79th Street, on the Upper West Side; an existing five-story building will first need to be demolished.
164 Attorney Street [Bowery Boogie]: A seven-story and 22-unit residential building has topped-out at 164 Attorney Street, in the Lower East Side; façade installation is likely imminent and Newman Design is the architect.
