160 Imlay Street [Curbed]: Renderings and condo listings have been released for the six-story and 70-unit residential conversion of the existing warehouse structure at 160 Imlay Street, in Red Hook. AA Studio is designing, and Est4te Four is developing.
550 West 38th Street [The Real Deal]: Sean Ludwick — a partner in BlackHouse Development — is in contract to purchase a two-story building spanning 550-552 West 38th Street, on the Far West Side. The site “offers 106,812 as-of-right, buildable square feet,” and plans call for “a 46-story condo-hotel tower.”
6200 8th Avenue [Curbed]: Dubbed Eighth Avenue Center — and located at the vacant parcel of 6200 8th Avenue, in Sunset Park — Raymond Chan has designed a massive project. It includes a three-story retail component “covering some 167,000 square feet,” a 10-story and 150-room hotel, two 15-story residential towers totaling 350 units, and a 17-story office tower.
341 Madison Avenue [New York Post]: The “MTA has quietly reopened the bidding for the long-term lease” of their current headquarters located at 341-347 Madison Avenue, in Midtown East, with prospects to rent to a developer; the “winning bidder is expected to tear it down” and construct a skyscraper “of between 24 and 30 [FAR], or as much as 753,150 square feet.”
61-01 34th Avenue [DNAinfo New York]: DY Realty has listed the single-story office building at 61-01 34th Avenue — in western Jackson Heights — for an undisclosed amount; the site is likely to be redeveloped, as commercial usage has been “rendered obsolete.”
