11 Stone Street: Premier Emerald LLC has filed applications to begin excavation on a 27-story, 143-room hotel building of nearly 57,000 square feet spanning 11-13 Stone Street, in the Financial District. An existing six-story building was approved for demolition in March, and Shiming Tam is designing.
BROOKLYN:
106 Remsen Avenue: An LLC has filed applications for an eight-story, 45-unit residential building of 41,000 square feet spanning 94-106 Remsen Avenue, in northern East Flatbush. The site’s single-story predecessor was demolished in September, and Garfinkel Architects is designing.
460 Grand Street: An LLC has filed applications for a five-story, 16-unit residential building of 12,922 square feet at the vacant lot of 460 Grand Street, in Williamsburg. John Stacom Architectural Design is listed as the architect.
78 Coffey Street: Dikeman Street Realty has filed applications for a three-story, three-unit residential building of nearly 3,500 square feet at the vacant lot of 78 Coffey Street, in Red Hook. The entire development will feature several other adjacent townhouses for a total of 12,301 square feet of residential space (likely to span the vacant lots of Nos. 74-84).
251 Withers Street: An LLC has filed applications for a four-story, six-unit residential building of 6,500 square feet at 251 Withers Street, in Williamsburg. An existing two-story structure must first be demolished, and Wu (Woody) Chen is listed as the architect.
1290 Decatur Street: An LLC has filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building of 5,451 square feet at 1290 Decatur Street, in Bushwick. An existing single-story structure must first be demolished, and S3 Architecture is designing.
65 Havemeyer Street: Avo Construction has filed applications for a four-story, single-family building of 2,632 square feet at 65 Havemeyer Street, in Williamsburg. An existing single-story warehouse must first be demolished.
666 Greene Avenue: “Neighborhood Restore HDFC” has filed applications for a three-story and two-unit residential building of 2,226 square feet at the vacant lot of 666 Greene Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Curtis+Ginsberg Architects is designing.
255 Java Street: Applications have been filed for a single-story, 12,407 square-foot “light manufacturing building” at 255 Java Street, in Greenpoint. An existing single-story framed structure passed pre-demo inspection in August.
QUEENS:
67-34 48th Avenue: Baxter Development has filed applications for four, three-story, three-unit residential buildings — each of roughly 3,300 square feet — spanning 67-26 – 67-34 48th Avenue, in Maspeth. An existing two-story structure at No. 67-34 and a single-story structure at No. 67-26 passed pre-demo inspection in October.
146-52 106th Avenue: Applications have filed applications for a two-story, two-unit residential building of 2,500 square feet at the vacant lot of 146-52 106th Avenue, in Jamaica.
28-13 119th Street: Applications have been filed for a two-story “warehouse contractors office” of 2,500 square feet at 28-13 119th Street, in College Point. An existing single-story structure passed pre-demo inspection in October.
STATEN ISLAND:
67 Upton Street: An LLC has filed applications for three-story, single, family home of 4,024 square feet at 67 Upton Street, in Todt Hill. An existing 1.5-story structure was recently approved for demolition, and Willy C. Yuin Architect is designing.
433 Lipsett Avenue: Niro Inc. has filed applications for a three-story, two-unit residential building of 3,107 square feet at 433 Lipsett Avenue, in Annadale. Demolition of an existing single-story abode began early this month.
311 Poillon Avenue: Applications have been filed for a two-story, single-family home of 3,075 square feet at 311 Poillon Avenue, in Annadale. An existing single-story home was approved for demolition on October.
