3414 Hunter Avenue: Applications have been filed for a two-story and two-unit residential building totaling 5,624 square feet at the vacant lot of 3414 Hunter Avenue, in Eastchester.

BROOKLYN:

1517 Bushwick Avenue: Knof Leasing Co. has received approval for a two-story and 68,557 square-foot commercial building to be constructed at the vacant lots of 1517-1519 Bushwick Avenue, in southern Bushwick; Scarano Architect is designing.

265 Van Brunt Street: Applications have been filed for a three-story and 19-unit residential building of 18,327 square feet to span 261-267 Van Brunt Street, in Red Hook. Demolition began this month on multiple single-story structures, and OCV Architects is designing.

272 Hawthorne Street: An LLC has filed applications for two, three-story and two-unit residential buildings — each of 3,420 square feet — spanning 270-272 Hawthorne Street, in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. An existing 2.5-story structure at No. 272 was recently approved for demolition.

QUEENS:

108-38 70th Avenue: Applications have been filed for a two-story and single-family abode of 3,750 square feet at 108-38 70th Avenue, in Forest Hills; an existing two-story structure was recently approved for demolition.

145-27 229th Street: Applications have been filed for two, two-story and two-unit residential buildings, each spanning 2,100 square feet, and located at 145-27 – 145-29 229th Street, in Brookville. An existing dilapidated two-story structure must first be demolished.
