The existing gas station was being removed in September, and “construction should begin in 2015.”
67 Avenue C [EV Grieve]: Construction is at the sixth floor of a planned seven-story, seven-unit residential/retail building located at 67 Avenue C, in the East Village. The project is technically an extension of the current low-rise structure, and completion can be expected in 2015.
160 West 83rd Street [West Side Rag]: Dubbed 158W83, the six-story, 22-unit residential vertical expansion — built atop the existing two-story commercial structure spanning 158-162 West 83rd Street, on the Upper West Side — is complete, with leasing already underway. Parkwood Realty Associates served as the developer.
41-21 28th Street [The Court Square Blog]: Demolition has begun on the two-story building spanning 41-21 – 41-31 28th Street, in Long Island City, where an LLC is set to construct a 16-story, 166-unit residential building of nearly 127,400 square feet. Commercial space will total just 675 square feet, and Karl Fischer is designing.
100 East End Avenue [DNAinfo New York]: Chapin School — located at 100 East End Avenue, on the Upper East Side — “is applying for zoning approval to add three more stories” to the existing eight-story building. The glass-clad expansion will “include a gym, locker rooms, and performance art rooms.”
185 Flatbush Avenue Extension [Crain’s New York]: CPEX Real Estate is marketing a development site located at 185 Flatbush Avenue Extension in Downtown Brooklyn, currently occupied by a gas station. The site has “roughly 76,000 square feet” of development potential, after factoring in the inclusionary housing bonus.
