75 Rockefeller Plaza [World Architecture News]: The 33-story landmarked 75 Rockefeller Plaza, located between 52nd and 51st Street, is set to receive “a comprehensive renovation and repositioning,” designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. The building will be “rebuilt to nearly new condition,” and a “major concourse” will be sculpted through the base, connecting both streets.

410 Tompkins Avenue [The Real Deal]: Vasco Ventures has planned a five- or six-story, “35-unit luxury rental building” — dubbed Hancock Manor — to span the lots of 410-416 Tompkins Avenue, in central Bedford-Stuyvesant. The developer “is planning demolition within 90 days” on three existing two-story townhouses, and J Frankl Associates is designing.

74-09 37th Avenue [DNAinfo New York]: A four-story building at 74-09 37th Avenue, in Jackson Heights, is undergoing reconstruction following a fire last April, with the “upper floors [being] completely modernized.” 70,000 square-feet of vacant space is available for commercial  tenants, and work is to wrap “within a year.”

347 Bowery [EV Grieve]: The former three-story building at 347 Bowery, on the border of the East Village and NoHo, has been almost completely demolished to make way for Urban Muse’s 13-story, six-unit mixed-use building that will total 22,751 square feet. Commercial space will amount to nearly 7,500 square feet, and Annabelle Selldorf is designing.
