711 West End Avenue [West Side Rag]: Renderings have surfaced of Kaled Management’s 125,000 square-foot 10-story, 65-unit addition atop the existing seven-story building at 701-711 West End Avenue, on the Upper West Side. PBDW Architects is designing, and a start date has not yet been announced.
225 4th Avenue [Crain’s Business]: Greystone “plans to build a 12-story,” 70-rental-unit residential building at the vacant lot of 225 4th Avenue, in Park Slope. Work begins this spring and completion is expected “by late 2016 or early 2017.”
Red Hook Innovation Studios [Brooklyn Daily Eagle]: Est4te Four closed on the properties at 44-62 Ferris Street and 219 Sullivan Street, in Red Hook, for $16 million in December. Revealed in October, the developer plans to develop 1.1 million square feet of office space between a number of buildings.
3160 Park Avenue [Welcome2TheBronx]: Trinity Financial has plans to develop a 12-story, 152-unit mixed-use building measuring 185,000 square feet at the vacant lot of 3160 Park Avenue, in Melrose. The structure will include 21,400 square feet of retail space, and Newman Design is the architect.
886 Dahill Road [The Real Deal]: Edward and Martin Wydra have place their pre-approved development site at 886 Dahill Road, in Mapleton, on the market for $38 million. The 1.5-acre site comes “shovel-ready” for a 10-story, 171-unit mixed-use building measuring 314,000 square feet.
139 Orchard Street [Daily News]: Arcade Capital “has agreed to pay $33 million” for the stalled-out 16-story, 98-room Allen Street Hotel at 139-141 Orchard Street, on the Lower East Side. Completion of the hotel is planned “by August.”
