287 Ocean Boulevard [NorthJersey.com]: The Planning Board has approved FEM Real Estate’s residential development set for the vacant ocean-front parcel at 287 Ocean Boulevard, in Long Branch, New Jersey. Dubbed South Beach at Long Branch, “construction is slated to begin in the [first half] of 2015,” and the project is split between two buildings standing eight stories each, totaling 47 condominiums.

12 East 13th Street [Observer]: Work is wrapping up on DHA Capital’s and Continental Properties’ 12-story, eight-unit residential building at 12 East 13th Street, in northern Greenwich Village. Occupancy is expected “no later than this summer,” and the building recently sold its first unit, a 4,816 square foot full-floor residence, for nearly $11.25 million.
553 West End Avenue [The Real Deal]: Cary Tamarkin has filed applications to expand and convert the existing seven-story, 53,000 square-foot former Catholic school building at 553-559 West End Avenue, on the Upper West Side, to an eight-story, 17-unit residential building measuring 81,000 square feet.

50 West Street [New York Times]: Time Equities’ 64-story, 151-unit luxury residential tower, now ascending into the sky at 50 West Street, in the Financial District, is now receiving its first glass panels. The $500 million building is expected to be completed by late 2016, and Helmut Jahn is designing.
322 Gates Avenue [Brownstoner]: An LLC has acquired the single-story warehouse at 322 Gates Avenue, in western Bedford-Stuyvesant, for $4.5 million. The 7,500 square-foot property boasts 22,500 square feet of building potential.

59 Frost Street [Brownstoner]: The Rabsky Group and Dunn Development are nearing completion on their seven-story, 47-unit affordable residential building at 59 Frost Street, in northern Williamsburg. The façade is practically complete, and the building appears to be on schedule, with its opening set for this year.
