Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 2954 Brighton 6th Street, in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. The location is seven blocks away from the beach boardwalk, and nine blocks away from Ocean Parkway, serviced by the Q train. Spot Realty New York City will be responsible for the development.
The 45-foot tall structure will yield 18,510 square feet of total area. 23 apartment units will be created, averaging 688 square feet apiece, indicating rental use. Tenants will have access to 13 parking spaces, storage capacity for 12 bicycles, a small recreational space, and a laundry room.
Studio Gallos will be responsible for the design.
The lot has been vacant for at least a decade. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
