Earlier this week, YIMBY reported on filings for a nine-story mixed-use building at 1182 Woodycrest Avenue. Now, a first look at the building’s elevation reveals yet more information about the project. The development is located in the Highbridge neighborhood of The Bronx, just five blocks away from the 4 train’s 167th Street subway station. The project is being co-developed by Crown Architecture and Consulting LLC.
The 90-foot tall structure will include a parking garage with capacity for 14 vehicles. The community facility space located in the cellar will be for the benefit of the seniors. Three private balconies will be included on the eighth and ninth floor. The rooftop will be crowned by a shared recreational space.
New figures reveal that 53 apartments will be created. 42 will vary in size from single to three-bedrooms. The remaining eleven single-bedroom units will rent to seniors above the age of 62.
Demolition permits have already been filed for the existing structure. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
