Permits have been filed for a five-story residential building at 1819 Sedgwick Avenue in Morris Heights, The Bronx. The site is a block away from the Morris Heights subway station, serviced by Metro-North. The 176th Street subway station on the 4 train is 11 blocks away, and the 175th Street subway station is four blocks further, serviced by D trains. Gabriel & Juliet Inc. is listed as responsible for the development.
The 60-foot tall structure will yield 7,880 square feet, with 6,500 square feet dedicated to residential use. Nine apartments will be created, averaging 722 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Floors one through four will each contain two apartments will the top floor will have a full-floor residency. 214 square feet of recreational space will be included on site. Residents will have laundry and storage space in the cellar.
