Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 744 East 21st Street in Flatbush–Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. The site is six blocks away from the Newkirk Plaza subway station, serviced by the Q train, and eleven blocks away from the Flatbush Avenue subway station, end of the line for 2 and 5 trains, and center of a major commercial thoroughfare. Yaakov Geldzahler of Triple C Builders LLC is listed as behind the applications.
The 75-foot tall structure will yield 27,130 square feet, with 19,990 square feet dedicated to residential use. 29 apartments will be created, averaging 689 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Residents will have access to recreational space on the first floor and in the cellar, as well as a laundry room.
Michael Avramides Architects will be responsible for the design.
Full demolition permits have been filed for the existing structure. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
