Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 561 Manhattan Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, at an intersection with Driggs Avenue and by the neighborhood’s border with Greenpoint. The site is two blocks from the Nassau Avenue subway station, serviced by the G train. Bi Hang Cheng is listed as behind the applications.

Eight apartments will be created, averaging 834 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Residents will have a lobby, fitness center, and accessory storage.

S M Tam Architect will be responsible for the design.

  1. Please pardon me for using your space: Indecisive details with reported from Andrew Nelson. (Hello YIMBY)

  2. Better a restaurant than yet another noisy bar.
McCarren park is right across the street.

  3. By the way, this building is most definitely in GREENPOINT, not Williamsburg, no matter what the developers might say.
