Already several floors above street level in the heart of Long Island City, Skyline Tower, aka 23-15 44th Drive, is rising steadily towards its 778-foot tall pinnacle above Queens. The building will have 67 floors of residential living, and rise higher than the stepped crown of the Citibank building, aka One Court Square, which will make it the tallest building in all of Queens. Skyline Tower is currently the 22nd-tallest tower rising in the Five Boroughs overall, and is set to contain nearly one million square feet of space, with 802 units. The project is being designed by Hill West Architects while the developer is United Construction & Development Group. Modern Spaces is the exclusive marketing and sales agency for Skyline Tower.

The 38,000-square-foot site is located behind the CUNY School of Law building, with 44th Road to the north, 23rd Street to the west, and 44th Drive to the south. The closest subways include the E and M train at the Court Square- 23 St station to the west, the G train at Court Square station, and the 7 train at Court Square to the south. The number of subways surrounding the project makes commuting from the building to the rest of New York City very convenient and easy.

Inside, the residential units will occupy about 760,000 square feet while the commercial and retail space will take up about 15,000 square feet. Prices for the units start from $500,000, and reach up to $4 million for spreads situated on the penthouse levels. Amenities include a fitness center with a swimming pool, a sauna and spa, a yoga room, laundry room, a children’s playroom, and multiple lounges for residents. Residents will be able to enjoy uninterrupted views of Midtown Manhattan and the sunsets looking west, along with the skyline of Long Island City’s downtown skyscrapers to the east.

Although the height of Skyline Tower was dramatically reduced from 964 feet down to 778 feet, it will still make a major impact on the skyline when completed sometime around 2021.
