Permits have been filed for an eight-story apartment building at 2026 Walton Avenue in Tremont, The Bronx. Located between East 179th Street and East Burnside Avenue, the interior lot is one block from the Burnside Avenue subway station, serviced by the 4 train. Gac Haxhari of G & E Walton Developers, LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 82-foot-tall development will yield 31,716 square feet, with 26,273 square feet designated for residential space. The structure will have 43 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 611 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Fernando Geremia of Fred Geremia Architects & Planners is responsible for the design.

Demolition permits were filed in November, 2018. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

    What sewer did this architect/developer duo crawl out of? Fred’s building in Wakefield looks like poop on a stick. Will he build another steaming hot turd on Walton. The magic 8 ball says yes!
