Permits have been filed for a ten-story hotel building at 869 Concourse Village West in Concourse Village, The Bronx. Located between East 159th Street and East 161st Street, the interior lot is four blocks east of the 161st-Yankee Stadium subway station, serviced by the B, D, and 4 trains. Joseph Yunatanov under the 3551 Boston Associates LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 100-foot-tall development will yield 32,338 square feet, with 27,920 square feet designated for commercial space. The building will have 85 rooms, with an average unit scope of 328 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 20-foot-long rear yard.
M.S. Savani Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

So this will be the second hotel right next to each other. I lived across the street for years. Hope this will not become a homeless hotel. This Judicial area does not need that! Court houses a block away. Concourse Village a block away. Pop
You already know it will be a homeless shelter.
It’ll be a homeless shelter because that’s all Bronx Democrats are good at getting built besides methadone clinics. I have never seen one group of politicians actively work so hard to blight their own community. It’s truly amazing.
