Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 44-14 Douglaston Parkway in Douglaston, Queens. Located between Church Street and Northern Boulevard, the interior lot is near the Douglaston LIRR train station, serviced by the Port Washington line. Gandolfo DiFiore of Manor North Properties LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 84-foot-tall development will yield 34,530 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 47 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 734 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, sub-cellar, a 53-foot-long rear yard, and 21 enclosed parking spaces.
Frank J. Quatela Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
