The affordable housing lottery has launched for The Deermar, a new 11-story development at 262 9th Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Designed by NA Design Studio with interiors by Whitehall Interiors and developed by Ranco Capital, the structure yields 72 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 22 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $78,858 to $187,330.

Amenities include pet-friendly policies, dog run, shared laundry room, gym and yoga studio, personal storage, lobby with doorman, package lockers, bike storage lockers, co-working space, library, billiards room, garden lounge, and a landscaped rooftop deck with outdoor kitchen, lounge, dining area, and sunbathing deck. Units come equipped with ample closet space, name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops and finishes, and hardwood floors.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are five studios with a monthly rent of $2,300 for incomes ranging from $78,858 to $138,840; ten one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,800 for incomes ranging from $96,000 to $156,130; and seven two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,344 for incomes ranging from $114,652 to $187,330.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than September 8, 2022.
