New images from development partners Fields Grade and Alpine Residential offer a look at completed residential amenity spaces within The Hazel Stamford, a new seven-story rental property in Stamford, Connecticut. Located at 44 John Street, the building is designed by Newman Architects and comprises 183 apartments, a mix of social and wellness amenity spaces, and an enclosed parking garage with electric vehicle charging stations.

The collection of indoor amenities includes a communal lounge, coworking spaces, a demonstration kitchen, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Additional conveniences include a package room, bike storage, a café, and access to an on-site smart-rental store for home products and household items like vacuums. The smart store is powered by TULU, a new prop-tech provider with partner buildings in New York City, London, Tel Aviv, and more.

The Hazel Stamford also includes Hudson Table, a public culinary studio designed to serve as an alternative form of recreation through cooking demonstrations and hands-on classes.

Outdoor amenity spaces include a landscaped roof terrace with barbecues and covered dining area, as well as a rooftop pool deck.

“While activity is certainly buzzing outside The Hazel, we wanted to create thoughtful indoor spaces that enhanced our residents’ lifestyles,” said James Caulfield, a Fields Grade partner. “We’re also excited to welcome Hudson Table to The Hazel, providing residents direct access to an interactive cooking and dining experience that is unique in the Stamford market.”

Apartments at the property include a mix of studio and one-bedroom homes. Each home is outfitted with hardwood floors, complimentary window treatments, in-unit washer and dryer machines, and smart lock entries.

South Oxford Management, the company managing the property, is also coordinating marketing and leasing efforts for the remaining units.
