Urby, a joint venture between Ironstate Development and Brookfield Properties, will soon debut phase two of a residential complex at 1 Greyrock Place in Stamford, Connecticut. Designed by international architecture firm Concrete Amsterdam, Stamford Urby phase two will add 176 rental apartments, following 464 rental units introduced in 2019 as part of phase one.
The Stamford Urby campus comprises 11 connected buildings with a central landscaped courtyard. Amenity spaces include a 1,000-square-foot coworking center with a dedicated café, a communal kitchen, a 7,000-square-foot fitness center with Peloton and LifeFitness machines, and indoor lounge areas. Residents will also have access to an outdoor saltwater pool, barbecue grills, firepits, a dog park, and meandering paths within the central courtyard.
Additional services include Amazon package lockers, an enclosed parking garage with electric vehicle chargers and bike docks, Wi-Fi in all common areas, an on-site concierge, and Latch-powered smart locks throughout the property that can be opened with a key fob or mobile device.
The mix of apartments includes studios up to three-bedroom layouts, with rents starting at approximately $2,075 per month. The next phase of move-ins will begin in February.
