Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 2102 East 1st Street in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Avenue U and East 1st Street, the corner lot is two blocks east of the Avenue U subway station, serviced by the F train. Jack Tawil of Redhoek Construction is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 45,178 with 29,821 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 12 residences, however the average unit scope is unknown. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 20 open parking spaces.
Barak Pliskin of Pliskin Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in January for the two-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
