The affordable housing lottery has launched for 82 4th Avenue, a nine-story mixed-use building in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by Lester Katz of BDF Architecture and developed by Abraham Posner, the structure yields 29 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are nine units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $107,178 to $156,130.

Amenities include bike storage, package lockers, gym, storage, a shared laundry room, recreation room, pet-friendly policies, dog washing station, virtual doorman, and a rooftop terrace. Residences come equipped with dishwashers, air conditioning, patios or balconies, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are nine one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,126 for incomes ranging from $107,178 to $156,130.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than March 13, 2023.

  2. here we go again calling this blsht affordable housing!
    This is INCOME LINKED HOUSING and only affordable to upper income people, not the low income people that need this housing.
    The millionaire developer gets a taxpayer subsidy under the 421A program to give 9 units to upper income people earning 130% AMI and earning $107,000-156,000 !
    What a joke.
