The affordable housing lottery has launched for 97-01 55th Avenue, a four-story residential building in Corona, Queens. Designed by Zheng & Associates and developed by Fengzhu Wang, the structure yields eight residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $75,669 to $198,250.

Amenities includes a shared laundry room and security camera. Residences comes with intercoms, air conditioning, hardwood floors, patios or balconies, name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one one-bedroom with a monthly rent of $2,207 for incomes ranging from $75,669 to $165,230; and two two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,462 for incomes ranging from $84,412 to $198,250.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than November 1, 2023.

    • They made an attempt at some brickwork ornamentation but the form is so lopsided and graceless it hardly makes up for it. I’m not being facetious, I honestly do not understand how some of these architects even graduated.

  3. piece of crap that’s not affordable housing but INCOME LINKED HOUSING FOR UPPER MIDDLE INCOME AND UPPER INCOME PEOPLE ONLY.
    Not for low or middle income people of the Bronx for sure.
    The NYS taxpayer subsidized program 421A is DEAD
    Thank God this has stopped temporarily
