Permits have been filed for a 10-story residential building at 502 East 81st Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Located between York Avenue and East End Avenue, the lot is closest to the 86th Street subway station, serviced by the Q train. Rybak Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 100-foot-tall development will yield 29,829 square feet designated for residential space. The unit count is unknown for this project, however it will most likely be condos based on Rybak’s portfolio on the Upper East Side. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and three enclosed parking spaces.
Zproekt Architecture is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed for a five-story structure in November 2023. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
