Bridging Access to Care plans to offer services focused around behavioral health, housing support, parenting, and other vital services. The organization’s strategy centers on training local staff for sustainable support and conducting thorough community consultations to shape their services.

Bridging Access to Care’s new 3301 Foster Avenue location is in the heart of Flatbush Gardens, and is a short walk from a variety of bus lines, along with the Newkirk Avenue-Little Haiti subway station, which services the 2 and 5 trains.

“It is an absolute priority for us to do everything we can to build a supportive environment at Flatbush Gardens, and giving BAC a free space in the heart of the complex will deliver bespoke resources straight to the residents that need them most,” said JJ Bistricer, partner and COO of Clipper Equity. “With dedicated staff and resources for mental health, parenting, wellness education, substance use, and more just steps away from their homes, the lives of countless Flatbush Gardens community members will be transformed by the new BAC office. We welcome BAC to Flatbush Gardens and thank them for the work they will do.”

  1. Is that what we’re calling them now, “Campus”?

  2. Putting what is essentially a welfare office directly in the center of what is essentially the projects seems like an ingenious plan which will most certainly help break a vicious cycle of an impoverished and unmotivated sector of society.

There is no big ticket on the campus, and they don’t bark up the wrong tree: Thanks.
