8 Underhill Avenue: Post Industrial Thinking LLC has filed applications to construct two, three-story and single-family townhouses of 2,400 square feet at the vacant lots of 8-10 Underhill Avenue, in Prospect Heights; Fractal Architecture is again designing.

186-02 Jamaica Avenue: An anonymous LLC filed applications to construct a six-story and 93,550 square-foot “self storage facility” at the vacant lot of 186-02 Jamaica Avenue, in Jamaica. Demolition of an existing single-story commercial structure began in July, per notifications; Frank Relf is designing.
12-14 30th Road: Michael Fragioudakis has filed applications to construct a three-story and three-unit residential building of 3,826 square feet at the vacant lot of 12-14 30th Road, in Astoria; the site’s three-story predecessor was demolished in 2008.
818 Jarvis Court: Bedford Construction Group has received partial approval to build a four-story and single-family abode of 3,136 square feet at 818 Jarvis Court, in Far Rockaway. The group has also filed foundation plan permits; construction is imminent.
73-03 196th Place: The owner of the single-story abode at 73-03 196th Place, in Fresh Meadows, was granted approval to vertically expand to two-stories, for a building now totaling 2,755 square feet; the owner also filed to build a detached garage.
2 Arcadia Walk: Breezy Point Cooperative has filed applications to rebuild a single-floor and single-family residence of 1,226 square feet at 2 Arcadia Walk — in Breezy Point — due to Hurricane Sandy damages.
30 Gotham Walk: Breezy Point Cooperative has also filed applications to construct a single-floor and single-unit residential abode of 860 square feet at 30 Gotham Walk, in Breezy Point.
Staten Island:
246 Downes Avenue: The owner has filed applications to build a two-story and single-family mansion-sized home of 6,373 square feet at 246 Downes Avenue, in Annadale. The site’s one-story predecessor was demolished in June; James Morri is designing.
190 Merrill Avenue: Kramer Enterprises has filed applications to construct twin, three-story and two-unit residential buildings — each of 2,246 square feet — at the vacant lots of 188-190 Merrill Avenue, in Bull’s Head; a single-story structure at 190 Merrill was demolished in 2005.
5 Woodside Avenue: National Homes Inc. has filed applications to construct three, three-story and single-family abodes spanning 5-15 Woodside Avenue, in Grymes Hill. Two houses will be built at roughly 2,000 square feet, while a third at 1,700 square feet; demolition of an abandoned structure at 5 Woodside completed in May.
