64 East 1st Street: Surfaced by YIMBY in April, permits are up in “support of excavation” for a six-story and six-unit residential building of 13,500 square feet at 64 East 1st Street, in the East Village. An August 8th pre-demolition inspection passed, signaling deconstruction is imminent.
Brooklyn:
19 Kent Avenue: Contractors have filed applications in “support of excavation” at the planned 10-story and 383,040 square-foot commercial building being developed by Heritage Equities at 19-33 Kent Avenue, in Williamsburg. In Juuly, a demolition inspection in July passed.
137 Jamaica Avenue: Cypress Hills Senior Housing Development has filed applications to construct a five-story and 54-unit residential building of 47,048 square feet at 137 Jamaica Avenue, in Cypress Hills. A dilapidated two-story building will need to be demolished; Lacina Heitler is designing.
134 Vanderbilt Avenue: An anonymous LLC has filed applications for a six-story and 45-unit mixed-use building — totaling 44,144 square feet — at the gas station spanning 134-148 Vanderbilt Avenue, in Clinton Hill. The building will contain 8,192 square feet of commercial space, and a smaller portion is allotted for community usage; ODA and Karl Fischer both appear on the filing.
125 Hart Street: Marcy Gardens 650 LLC has filed applications to construct a four-story and two-unit residential building of 3,440 square feet at 125 Hart Street, in northern Bedford-Stuyvesant. An abandoned two-story structure will need to be demolished; Gerald Caliendo is designing.
Queens:
54-21 102nd Street: Ken L Cheung is filing applications to construct a four-story and six-unit residential building of 3,922 square feet at 54-21 102nd Street, in Corona. Demolition was approved for the existing two-story structure in January; An Shen Ma is designing.
39-58 222nd Street: Sepler Holdings LLC has filed applications to construct twin, two-story and single-family abodes — each of nearly 3,000 square feet — spanning 39-58 – 39-62 222nd Street, in Bayside. An existing two-story structure will need to be demolished; Arnold Montag is designing.
400 1/2 Bayside: Breezy Point Cooperative has filed applications to construct a two-story and single-family abode of 1,870 square feet at 400 1/2 Bayside, in Roxbury; a single-floor structure had been destroyed during Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
28 Olive Walk: Breezy Point Cooperative has filed applications to construct a three-story and single-unit abode of 1,560 square feet at 28 Olive Walk, in Breezy Point; an on-site, damaged single-floor structure was demolished last December.
