60 Water Street [Curbed]: Two Trees’17-story and 290-unit residential building — currently topped-out at 60 Water Street, in Dumbo — has a new set of official renderings; LESSER and Ismael Leyva are designing. The building is expected to be completed this year, with leases beginning this fall.
835 Myrtle Avenue [Crain’s New York]: Nachman Leibowitz and partners are “negotiating to buy the Cascade Linen Factory” at 835 Myrtle Avenue — in Bedford Stuyvesant — for $60 million; the recently rezoned site could accommodate “as much as 450,000 square feet” of residential space, and “an additional 100,000 square feet of commercial space.”
44 West 66th Street [The Real Deal]: Extell Development, partnered with Megalith Capital Management, is planning a new tower at 44 West 66th Street, the site of a synagogue in the Upper West Side. The size and scope of development is unknown, but current air rights amount to at least 150,000 square feet; a much larger tower could be built if other properties are acquired.
36-08 Union Street [Brownstoner]: Dubbed Macedonia Plaza, the 13-story and 142-unit affordable building at 36-08 Union Street, in Flushing, will be ready for move-ins come “mid to late September.”
Bronx Waterfront Redevelopment [DNAinfo New York]: The Department of City Planning is working to study prime waterfront and transit-oriented development opportunities, mainly along the Metro-North stations throughout the Bronx. Target neighborhoods include University Heights and Morris Heights.
263 Union Avenue [Curbed]: 263 Realty Group LLC has plans to construct a seven-story and six-unit residential building at 263 Union Avenue, in Williamsburg; the site is currently home to a single-story garage structure.
110 East 10th Street [EV Grieve]: A restored four-story and two-unit townhouse has unsheathed its scaffolding at 110 East 10th Street, in East Village; a neighboring brick building is currently receiving similar treatment, at No. 106.
76 North 4th Street [Brownstoner]: Cayuga Capital is prepping to debut their five-story and 83-unit residential conversion at 76 North 4th Street, in Williamsburg, with leasing starting this fall; formerly the Lewis Steel Building, the factory structure has been redesigned by Kaufman and Hustvedt Cutler.
1045 Fulton Street [Fort Greene Focus]: Demolition has been approved for the low-rise structures spanning 1045-1047 Fulton Street, in Fort Greene, to make way for a seven-story and 28-unit mixed-use building of 21,000 square feet; Karl Fischer is designing, and demolition is imminent.
2A Strong Place [Brownstoner]: Brennan Realty is currently erecting three townhouses centered around 2A Strong Place, in Cobble Hill; CWB is designing. The first townhouse will span 3,720 square feet, and will include five bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths, with an asking price of $4,475,000.
