425 East 161st Street: Bridge Mental Health & Housing has filed applications to construct a nine-story and 59-unit “community facility with sleeping accommodations” for the vacant lot of 425 East 161st Street, in Morrisania; MAP is designing.
407 East 160th Street: An anonymous LLC has filed applications to construct an eight-story and 39-unit residential building of 24,302 square feet at the vacant lot of 407 East 160th Street, in Melrose; the site’s single-story predecessor was demolished in 2006, and Badaly & Badaly is designing.
BROOKLYN:
1776 Prospect Place: NYCHA has filed applications to construct a six-story and 101-unit residential building — totaling 105,827 square feet — spanning 1776-1796 Prospect Place, in Brownsville; an existing 15-story housing project is currently being demolished, and Dattner is designing.
1750 Prospect Place: NYCHA has filed applications to construct a five-story and 48-unit residential building of 50,540 square feet spanning 1750-1760 Prospect Place, in Brownsville. Demolition of a deteriorating 12-story housing project finished in August, and Dattner is designing.
QUEENS:
43-22 Queens Street: Rockrose has filed applications to begin excavation in conjunction with their planned 54-story and 783-unit building spanning 43-22 – 43-46 Queens Street, in Long Island City. The existing six-story warehouse will be incorporated within the new development, and construction is likely imminent.
40-15 191st Street: An anonymous LLC has filed applications to construct four, three-story and two-unit residential buildings — each of roughly 2,300 square feet — spanning 40-15 – 40-32 191st Street, in Auburndale; two existing two-story structures must first be demolished.
625 Beach 66th Street: Applications have been filed to construct a two-story and single-family abode of 2,042 square feet at 625 Beach 66th Street, in Arverne; the site’s existing two-story structure will need to be demolished.
