1655 Madison Avenue: An LLC has filed a slew of applications to begin construction of an eight-story and 19-unit mixed-use building of 16,731 square feet — with nearly 1,500 square feet of retail — spanning 1653-1655 Madison Avenue, in East Harlem. The site’s five-story predecessor was demolished in 1991, and WASA/Studio A is designing.
BROOKLYN:
656 Stanley Avenue: NYCHA has filed applications to construct a four-story and 31-unit residential building of 30,021 square feet at the vacant lots of 654-664 Stanley Avenue, in East New York; Dattner is designing.
182 Minna Street: Cong. & Yeshiva Machzikei Hadas has filed applications for a four-story and 20,238 square-foot community facility spanning 180-182 Minna Street, in Kensington; a single-story structure would first need to be demolished, and Grigori Zinkevich is designing.
254 55th Street: Applications have been filed for a five-story and six-unit residential building of nearly 5,000 square feet at the vacant lot of 254 55th Street, in Sunset Park; Mircea Bazac is listed as the architect.
1722 Utica Avenue: Applications have been filed for a 3,319 square-foot commercial structure at 1722 Utica Avenue, in Flatlands; an existing two-story structure and gas station was approved for demolition in August.
QUEENS:
16-33 200th Street: Applications have been filed for a two-story and two-unit residential building of nearly 2,700 square feet at 16-33 200th Street, in Little Neck; the existing 1.5-story abode passed pre-demolition inspection last week.
STATEN ISLAND:
132 Lynhurst Avenue: Applications have been filed for two 4,600 square-foot warehouse buildings spanning the vacant lots of 132-138 Lynhurst Avenue, in Rosebank.
3021 Veterans Road West: Westbridge Properties has filed applications for a single-story and 1,800 commercial structure at the vacant lot of 3021 Veterans Road West, in Charleston.
