860 Washington Street [Curbed]: Property Group Partners, partnered with Romanoff Equities, is currently constructing a 10-story, 114,535 square-foot office building at 860 Washington Street — in the Meatpacking District — with concrete now at the second floor. James Carpenter is designing, and completion is expected in 2015.
15 Hudson Yards [New York Daily News]: Related Companies has begun caisson construction on their 70-story, 385-unit residential tower, located at 15 Hudson Yards, on the Far West Side. Diller Scofidio + Renfro is designing the 910-foot-tall, 960,000 square-foot skyscraper, and completion is set for 2018.
101 Lincoln Avenue [The Real Deal]: The Chetrit Group, partnered with Somerset Partners, has acquired the 133,000 square-foot parcel located at 101 Lincoln Avenue — in Mott Haven — for $32 million, home to a 57,000 square-foot warehouse. The site has “up to 800,000 square feet” of building potential.
800 Union Street [Brownstoner]: Midwood Investment and Development Corp. have plans to convert the existing six-story garage structure at 800 Union Street — in Park Slope — into a 28-unit mixed-use building with 7,248 square feet of commercial space. Plans are stagnant at the DOB, and a construction timeline has not been established.
37-23 72nd Street [Brownstoner]: Applications have been filed for an 11-story, 50-key hotel and community building of 20,160 square feet at 73-23 72nd Street, in Jackson Heights. The building will technically be an expansion of the existing two-story structure, and Li Architect Associate is designing.
476 Broome Street [The Real Deal]: Jeff Greene — through JBS Project Management — “is seeking approval” for the condo conversion of the seven-story structure located at 476 Broome Street, in SoHo. Seven units are planned to occupy the $110 million conversion, also known as 62 Wooster Street, as well as “two retail spaces.”
