A joint venture between Carlstadt, N.J.-based Russo Development and Woodbridge, N.J.-based Dinallo Construction is planning to convert the four-story industrial building at 163 Bloomfield Avenue, in Verona, N.J., in Essex County, into a 51-unit residential building. Plans also include the construction of a ground-up, five-story, 68-unit residential building next door.
Dubbed Annin Lofts, the project’s apartments will range from studios to two-bedrooms. Amenities include rooftop terraces, a fitness center, club rooms, and 180 off-street parking spaces. DMR Architects is behind the design. The apartments in the converted building are expected to be complete in 2017, Jersey Digs reported. Until 2013, the industrial building was home to Annin Flagmakers. Four wood-frame structures had to be demolished for the new building.

New part of development to New Jersey, which is an officially indicative of two buildings.
Is this a new trend for NYC and Jersey City to built low rises after those skyscrapers and highrises??? If it does, this would only contribute for prominance of existing and already in construction phase high rises in both skyscrapers prone cities!!!
Sorry this article for suburban part of New Jersey, but trend for building a lot of low rises continues for Jersey City and New York City.
