Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 486 East 28th Street in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The site will rise three blocks away from the Newkirk Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains, one stop away from the end of the line. Solomon Feder is listed as behind the applications.
The 70-foot tall structure will yield 19,760 square feet, with 15,300 square feet dedicated to residential use. 22 apartments will be created, averaging 695 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Ten parking spaces will be included on site, as well as some bicycle storage. Tenants will have access to a laundry room and seventh-floor recreational space.
Diego Aguilera Architect is listed as responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed, and the estimated completion date has not been announced.
