Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 3405 Farragut Road in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The site is seven blocks away from the Flatbush Avenue subway station, end of the line for the 2 and 5 trains, and a central commercial intersection. Rubin Berish is responsible for the development.
The 55-foot tall structure will yield 8,390 square feet for residential use. 10 apartments will be created, averaging 839 square feet apiece, likely indicating rentals. One unit on the fourth floor will extend into a penthouse level, creating a duplex. Amenities for tenants are not specified.
Nearby, permits for a six-story residential building at 3415 Farragut Road were filed in February 2015. The structure will yield 27,000 square foot of residential space, creating 40 units.
Kenneth Thomas P.E. is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits have not been filed. The estimated completion date has not been announced.
