Permits have been filed a seven-story residential building at 3408 Glenwood Road, in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The site is five blocks away from the Flatbush Avenue subway station, end of the line for the 2 and 5 trains, and center of a significant rental intersection. Yanky Geldzahler of Triple C Builders will be responsible for the development.
The 70-foot tall structure will yield 18,900 square feet, with 12,850 square feet dedicated to residential use. 19 apartments will be created, averaging 675 square feet apiece, indicating rentals. Future tenants will benefit from a lobby, a laundry room, parking for bicycles and ten vehicles, and a rooftop recreation space.
NY Building Associates Inc. will be responsible for the design.
Demolition permits for the existing structure were filed in July. The estimated completion date has not been announced.

Please pardon me for using your space: Ask me about its account on a seven-story residential building. Good or not good. (Hello YIMBY)
This building will stick out on that block. I’m amazed that an apartment building can be squeezed onto a 40′ x 107′ lot. Surprised that 10 parking spaces are included but if I rented an apartment in that building I’d snap up one of those spaces. On-street parking is very difficult in that area.
How can a building go in that spot? Doesn’t a family live there ? That will be small building
