Demolition permits have been filed for three adjacent four-story buildings at 120-124 Lexington Avenue, in Kips Bay, Manhattan. The site between 28th and 29 streets is located one block east of the 28th Street subway station, serviced by the 6 line. Daniel Dabakaroff of Skyland Management is listed as responsible for the development.
The new corner development will be a nine-story mixed-use building, 95 feet tall, with a total of 37,313 square feet. 56 residential units will make up 30,002 square feet of the mixed-use structure with an average size of 536 square feet. An unspecified number of units will be rent regulated. On the first floor 3,556 square feet will be dedicated to commercial space.
Paul Giammona of Crown Architecture will be responsible for the design.
New construction permits were filed in August of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
