Zar Property NY has returned to the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission with new applications to construct an elevator bulkhead and landing for 38 Green Street‘s innovative penthouse expansion.

Designed by Workshop APD, the two-story penthouse expansion measures 12,000 square feet with a 4,000 square foot terrace. The surreal, serpentine addition was previously approved by the commission and will function as a commercial showroom.

While the penthouse expansion itself has already been approved, the bulkhead changes will go before the LPC this Tuesday for confirmation. No completion date has been confirmed yet, but with the modifications only minor in scope, this is unlikely to yield any setbacks for the overall expansion.
