Permits have been filed for a seven-story hotel at 1755 Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Osborn Street and Watkins Street, the lot is seven blocks from Sutter Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Samir Patel under the 1755 Realty LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 20,909 square feet, with 16,954 square feet designated for commercial space. The building will have 56 hotel rooms, with an average unit scope of 302 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 31-foot-long rear yard.
Shiming Tam of S M Tam Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
